2003, Re-launch of endosc-hp to the UK market

Cambridge Life Sciences Ltd manufactures a Helicobacter pylori rapid urease test that has been sold world-wide under a variety of brand names since 1998. This test has now been re-launched in the UK under the brand name Endosc-Hp® and has many features that will enhance and simplify your current testing procedure whilst continuing to provide you with the reliability and accuracy you expect.

The Endosc-Hp® test hasn’t changed in itself. It is still a quick, accurate, practical, flexible, and low cost alternative to gel based tests.

• Quick test – Usually within 30 minutes, the colour change indicates a positive reaction and confirms the presence of Helicobacter Pylori.

Accurate test – Specifically designed to detect the urease enzyme of Helicobacter Pylori.

• Practical test – Shelf life of 18 months when stored at room temperature. In addition once the tests are reconstituted they are stable for 5 days at 18-25°C, or 3 months at 4°C.


• Flexible test – the twin wells allow you to take two specimens per patient, one from the Antral and one from the Corpus region. It also allows the use of the second well as a control if only one specimen is required.


• Low cost test – £3.75 for 4 cartridges is less than 47p per biopsy sample.
