CLS Welcomes new management team members

We are pleased to share some exciting new updates to the company with you.

We have recently welcomed two key members to the Cambridge Life Sciences management team: Dr Berenice Mann joins as Head of Marketing and Dr Andy Sails takes the role of Chief Technical Manager.

Berenice is an experienced and accomplished marketing leader specialising in B2B marketing for science and technology businesses. Previous roles include Arm (semiconductor) and a variety of technical businesses including technology and software consultancies and product companies. She has a scientific background with a PhD in Physics and is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of CIM.

Her career spans R & D, technical project management, technology transfer, commercial and marketing. In her spare time she is a board member of non-profits and reviews theatre and film locally around Cambridge. She has been working at CLS for three months already as a consultant and is delighted to become a permanent member of staff.

 

Andy brings a wealth of experience in infectious disease diagnostics, his career has involved working in both the United States and the UK. He combines expertise in IVD research with an understanding of the needs of the end user in the complex field of medical diagnostics. With an ability to translate scientific knowledge into new diagnostic applications he has a record of overseeing the development, validation, implementation and service management of diagnostics within medical microbiology and public health. Andy has a PhD in Medical Microbiology and a Masters in Biomedical Science. Andy is excited to be joining and looks forward to developing the CLS portfolio.
