BCR
The BCR is manufactured by DAS and CE marked with respect to the In Vitro Diagnostic Devices Directive (98/79/EC). The BCR was launched in the UK in January 2006 as part of Cambridge Life Sciences’ innovative diagnostic solution.

The BCR is a barcode reader, easy-to-use, which automatically identifies the position of the tubes and transfers the information to the DAS AP processor it is connected to. For each tube, the operator needs to manually scan the bar-coded tubes and place the tubes in to the first position available on the sample rack. Once all the patient samples have been loaded, the operator must transfer the sample rack to the sample rack position on the DAS AP processor.
